Over the years, people have often referred to me as “different” – and Renaissance man. I’ve always just seen myself as being true to who I am, so I never felt the need to look up what the term actually meant. Whoops, I guess it was a compliment. The Renaissance man, as described by Helen Gardner in 1970, embodies “unquenchable curiosity” and a “feverishly inventive imagination.” According to Dictionary.com, it refers to “a present-day man who has acquired profound knowledge or proficiency in more than one field.”
